Abstract. Purpose:To report 3 cases of punctate inner choroidopathy with choroidal neovascularization(CNV)treated by intravitreal bevacizumab. Cases and Findings:All the 3 cases were females and were aged 24,36 and 57 years respectively. All were unilaterally affected. Refraction was -8 diopters in 2 cases and -2 diopters in one. Corrected visual acuity was 0.5,0.2 and 0.08 respectively. All the affected eyes showed white dots scattered in the macular area. Fluorescein angiography showed type 2 CNV. CNV resolved after one to 3 sessions of intravitreal injection of bevacizumab. Visual acuity improved to 1.2,1.0 and 0.8 respectively. Conclusion:These cases illustrate that intravitreal bevacizumab may be effective for CNV in eyes with punctate inner choroidopathy.
