要約　背景：眼内レンズ挿入術に用いられるIOLマスター^®は，5つのパワー計算式と，眼内レンズ定数の最適化機能を備える。目的：User Group for Laser Interference Biometry（ULIB）の眼内レンズ定数を使用した場合と，症例ごとに最適化した眼内レンズ定数を使用した場合の成績を比較し，4つの計算式を比較すること。対象と方法：4種の眼内レンズを挿入した358眼につき，ULIB群と最適化群の成績を，4つの計算式と5指標で評価した。結果：最適化で成績が向上したが，眼内レンズの種類によっては悪化例があった。結論：眼内レンズのパワー決定で，最適化群がすべての項目でULIB群よりも優れているとは限らない。使用する眼内レンズの種類により最適な計算式が異なる。

Abstract.　Background：IOL Master^® is generally used in power calculation in intraocular lens（IOL）implantation. It consists of 5 formulas and contains standardization function of IOL constants. Purpose：To compare the outcome of cataract surgery using 4 types of IOL and to evaluate the four calculation formulas. Cases and Method：This study was made on 358 eyes that received either of four types of IOL. The outcome was evaluated regarding the use of IOL constants by User Group for Laser Interference Biometry（ULIB）and standardized IOL constants. Results：Personally standardized IOL constants gave better outcomes than ULIB. Personally standardized IOL constants gave poorer results depending on the type of IOL. Conclusion：Use of personally standardized IOL constants may not result in better outcome than that of ULIB. Power calculation formula ought to differ depending on the type of IOL.
