色光を用いたLow Vision Evaluatorによる末期緑内障患者の視機能評価

Evaluation of visual function in advanced glaucoma using a low vision evaluator stimulated with red,blue and green lights

要約　末期緑内障36眼の視機能を，色光を用いる全視野刺激型光覚刺激装置（Low Vision Evaluator）で検索した。矯正視力は，0.5以上が29眼，0.4未満が7眼であり，中心視野に緑内障性感度低下があった。光覚刺激装置では，刺激用ゴーグル内に20cd/m²の白色背景光をおき，刺激光として，赤色（644nm），青色（470nm），緑色（525nm）の発光ダイオードを用いた。本装置の青色を用いた測定結果は，ハンフリー静的視野計で得られたtotal deviationの中心4点と高い相関を示した（r＝0.72，p＜0.001）。本装置が末期緑内障眼の視機能の評価に有用であることを示す所見である。

Abstract.　We evaluated the visual function in 36 eyes of advanced glaucoma using a low vision evaluator. All the eyes had decreased sensitivity in the central field. The corrected visual acuity was 0.5 or over in 29 eyes and 0.4 or less in 7 eyes. During examination with the low vision evaluator,a white background of 20cd/m²was presented to the eye. We used three stimuli from light-emitting diodes：red（644 nm）,blue（470 nm）and green（525 nm）. The results with blue stimuli showed a high correlation with findings by averaged 4 center points of total deviation by Humphrey Central 10-2 threshold test（r＝0.72,p＜0.001）. The present device promises to be of value in the evaluation of visual function in advanced glaucoma.
