Abstract. We evaluated the effect of kallidinogenase on the fundus blood flow in 10 eyes of 10 normal humans. Each test person received kallidinogenase perorally at the daily dosis of 150IU for 4 weeks. Before and after administration, chorioretinal blood flow was measured using a scanning laser doppler flowmeter. The arbitrary value for blood flow averaged 218.7±30.9 before and 262.3±49.3 after administration. The dlfference was significant(paired-t test,p<0.01). The finding shows that peroral kallidinogenase induces an increase in chorioretinal blood flow in normal persons.
