本研究では頚椎後縦靱帯骨化症(OPLL)の手術症例データベースに基づき術後1年と術後2年時点でminimal clinically important difference(MCID)を達成できるかを予測する機械学習モデルを作成した．患者背景，臨床症状，画像所見のデータを特徴量として解析を行った．機械学習を用いてOPLLの手術の予後予測モデルの構築に成功し，脊椎手術の予測モデルへの機械学習の適応の可能性を示すことができた．
