3Dプリンティングの進歩により，樹脂3Dプリンティングによる手術支援ガイド(patient specific surgical guide：PSG)が整形外科の種々の領域に臨床応用されている．股関節外科における骨切り術への応用として，寛骨臼回転骨切り術(rotational acetabular osteotomy, curved periacetabular osteotomy)への適用や，人工股関節全置換術における大腿骨頚部骨切り，また大腿骨矯正骨切りに関する適用が報告されている．
