仙骨嚢腫に対する画像診断の有用性の検討

Evaluation of Diagnostic Imaging Techniques for Sacral Cystic Tumors

　仙骨嚢腫の診断および治療に有効な術前検査を知るために術前画像検査と術中所見を比較検討した．嚢腫発見にはMRIが有効であるが，嚢腫の発生している神経根の特定には造影CTでのMPR（multi planer reconstruction）冠状断像が有効であった．

　Diagnostic imaging techniques have recently been developed for the preoperative evaluation, and we have applied them to the diagnosis of sacral cystic tumors. MRI, myelography, and particularly coronal MPR of contrast-enhanced CT were found to be useful both in determining the morphology of the tumor and identifying the nerve root from which the cystic tumor originated.
