はじめに
消化管に発生する間葉系腫瘍では筋原性/神経原性両マーカーに染色されない一群，gastrointestinal stromal tumor（GIST）が約80％を占めることが明らかとなってきた1）．しかしその定義や分類，診断法は確立，浸透したものとは言えず，臨床面での検討も十分とは言えない．今回，筆者らは直腸原発のGISTの1切除例を経験したので報告する．
