　61歳男性で，汎下垂体機能低下を主症状とし，MRI上，トルコ鞍内より一部鞍上部へ進展する腫瘍を認め，transsphenoidal approachにて摘出し、病理組織学的にepidermoid cystと診断された例を報告した。Intrasellar epidermoid cystは非常に稀であり，そのMRI所見に関しての報告は今まで見られておらず，今回のわれわれの報告が初めてである。また，他の疾患との鑑別点に関して若十の文献的考察を加えた。

We report a rare case of intrasellar epidermoid cyst. A 61-year-old man presented with complaints of the disturbance of consciousness and general fatigability. His laboratory data showed panhypopituitarism and MRI revealed the cystic tumor located at the intrasel-lar region. Tumor was removed by transsphenoidal ap-proach and histological examination of the surgical specimen showed that the cyst wall was composed of the stratified squamous epithelium with keratohyaline granules.
