A case of multiple primary brain tumors-a left acoustic neurinoma associated with a meningioma in the lateral ventricle-in patient of 23 year-old woman is described. The tumors were removed successfully in two successive operations.
The coexistence of acoustic neurinoma with meningioma in the lateral ventricle is extraordinery uncommon.
The preoperative diagnosis of multiple brain tumors has been rarely made and the successfully operated cases have been reported on rare occasions.
The therapeutic problems of these tumors are discussed.
