頭蓋錐体部に発生した，巨大なるChondromyxoid fibromaの1手術治験例

A SUCCESSFULLY OPERATED CASE OF CHONDROMYXOID FIBROMA ORIGINATED FROM THE PETROUS PYRAMID

緒言

　頭蓋骨より生ずる原発性の良性腫瘍のうち軟骨起源のものはchondroma, chondromatosis, osteochondroma，benign chondroblastoma等が比較的良く知られている^11）。しかしこれら軟骨起源の良性腫瘍の中にあつて，chondromyxoid fibromaは，頭蓋においてはわれわれの調べた限りでは今迄その報告もなく，極めて稀なものである。

　最近われわれは頭蓋底部錐体より発生したと思われる巨大なchondromyxoid fibomaの1症例を経験し，手術により治癒退院せしめたので報告する。

A very rare case of chondromyxoidfibroma origi-nated from the petrous pyramid was reported.

A 15 year old girl was admitted with complaintof bony swelling at left retroauricular region, left deafness, diplopia, left facial palsy and hoarseness.

Neurologically, left V th, VI th, VII th, VIII th, IX th, X th cranialnerves were impaired.

The examinations revealed a huge extradural tumor located at the left middle cranial fossa, and it extended to the left posterior cranial fossa.

When operated on, the tumor proved to originate from the diploe of the left petrous pyramid.

The tumor had grown up so large that it weighed 175 gr and was extirpated completely.

The gross appearence of the tumor was the mass of yellowish orange, semitranslucent, mucinous, jelly like clot. Histologically, the tumor was diag-nosed as chondromyxoidfibroma. Postoperative course was uneventful at present, one year and nine months after surgery.

She is in good condition without any sign of recurrence.
