知覚運動領野から延髄諸核への投射はGlees法やNauta法などの形態学的方法によつて,Bro-dal—派やKuypersなどにより最近大いに開明された。我々の協同研究者の小平もNauta法を使用して,彼等の所見を吟味,訂正した。
我々は猫の知覚運動領野から延髄への投射の機能を追究する研究の第1段階として,該皮質刺激による延髄の誘発電位地図を作製してみた。
In 17 adult cats under flaxedil and artifi-cial respiration, the cerebral somatic areas are stimulated by single electrical shock and electrical activities are recorded in the me-dulla oblongata at the inferior oliveary level and the level of the pyramidal decussation to compare the findings thus obtained with those by the Nauta method.
Projections of the cerebral somatic areas to the spinal trigeminal and posterior funicu-lar nuclei are exclusively contralateral with the Nauta method,while bilateral with ele-ctrophysiological method. But latencies of the early component of the contralateral re-sponses are different from those of the ipsila-teral ones.The former is generally shorter than the latter.
