抄録　COVID-19流行下における自粛生活中に飲酒量が増えていたアルコール使用障害の40代女性が，家庭内感染によりCOVID-19を発症した。ホテル療養の指示に伴う急激な飲酒の中止により，せん妄を伴うアルコール離脱が生じ，精神科病院の身体合併症病棟へ入院した。せん妄状態は激しく，治療協力が得られなかったため，感染防護が困難となった。

　A female patient in her forties with a history of alcohol use disorder who had increased her alcohol consumption while under self-imposed quarantine at home during the COVID-19 pandemic contracted COVID-19 in the household. The sudden cessation of drinking enforced by a mandatory quarantine in a hotel led to delirium induced by alcohol withdrawal, and she was admitted to our medical psychiatric unit. The medical staff experienced difficulty in protecting against infection because the patient was severely delirious and un-cooperative.
