はじめに

　甲状腺中毒症による振戦はLithium(Li)による振戦と同様に姿勢時振戦を呈するため^1,9)，症候学的に両者は鑑別し難い。さらに甲状腺中毒症自体もLiにより生じる可能性があるため^2,5,7)，Li内服症例に生じた甲状腺中毒症では振戦と甲状腺中毒症の双方の原因としてLiの影響を疑う必要が生じる。我々はLiで長期に維持治療されていた高齢の双極性障害Ⅰ型の患者において，振戦の出現に際してLiを減量して躁状態の再燃を生じた症例を経験したので報告する。
