左房粘液腫は比較的稀な疾患であるが，近年UCG等の検査法の進歩によりその報告例は増加している。我々は最近左房粘液腫としては比較的大きいと考えられる149gの症例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。
A 53 years old female was admitted to our hospital with symptoms of general tiredness and dyspnea. The patient was diagnosed as left atrial myxoma by UCG and angiography.
Operation was performed by median sterno-tomy, left atriotomy under cardiopulmonary bypass. The atrial myxoma was excised including endocardial fragment and its weight was 149g.
