Two micromethods of estimating percer-tage oxygen saturation of blood were studied and these results were compared with that obtained by Van Slyke manometric method.

The difference between results obtained by microphotometric method using Oxygen Sa-turation Meter and by Van Slyke manometric method was within 3 %, therefore it is pos-sible that oxygen content of blood is calcu-lated from this value using oxygen capacity of blood.
