Two cases of die inferior caval occlusion as-sociated with the Budd-Chiari syndrome were described in detail. The finger fracture method through die right auricle was operated upon to make canalization of the inferior caval occlusion. In one case, die operation was successful, show-ing a striking effect. In another case, the occlu-sion situated on too distal side to approach suffi-ciently the site of the lesion with the surgeon's finger. It was very difficult to make recanaliza-tion. Nlore progressive device should be done for the insertion of die surgeon's finger in this type of the inferior caval occlusion.
