  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

1. The relationships between the E. C. G. findings and the level of pulmonaly arterial pressure were studied in 153 cases with chronic pulmonary diseases.

2. Tall PII , PIII (more than O.2mv) provide the clue suggesting of the existing of pulmonary hy-pertension (mean pulmonary arterial pressure more than 16mmHg).

3. Right axis deviation (more than 90°) provide also the clue suggesting of pulmonary hypertension.

4. Any significant relation was not found between the level of pulmonary arterial pressure and E. C. G. findings satisfying at least one of Sokolow & Lyon's criteria, which we defined as right ven-tricular hypertrophic pattern.

5. Mean pulmonary arterial pressure were more than 24 mmHg in all cases with R/S ratio of more than 1.0 in VⅠ or V3R and ST-T change in V1, pnd V2, but some cases having the mean pulmonary arterial pressure of more than 24 Hg, however, had no abnormal E. C. G. findings.
