Superficially Serrated Adenoma（SuSA）

要旨●筆者らは，管状の腺腫様腺管から構成され，表層に限局した鋸歯状構造を伴う，既知の病変に分類困難な大腸ポリープの一群を見い出し，これらをSuSAとして報告した．SuSAは特徴的な病理組織像に加え，KRAS変異＋RSPO融合/過剰発現という遺伝子異常を高頻度に有することから，分子病理学的観点からも均質かつ特徴ある鋸歯状病変の独立した亜型と考えられる．また，SuSAは鋸歯状腺腫（TSA）と共通の遺伝子異常を有し，また，TSAの約12%に伴って認められたことから，SuSAはTSAの前駆病変であると考えられる．

　We suggested SuSA（superficially serrated adenoma）as a novel subtype of colorectal serrated lesion, which is characterized by mixed adenomatous and serrated features. Along with the characteristic histological features, the vast majority of SuSAs harbor concurrent KRAS mutations and RSPO fusions/overexpression. These genetic features of SuSAs are common to TSAs（traditional serrated adenomas） ; SuSAs were seen in association with 12% of TSAs. Our observations indicate that SuSA is a morphologically and molecularly distinct subtype of colorectal serrated lesion that is histogenetically related to TSA.
