胃穹窿部神経鞘腫の1例

A Case of Gastric Neurinoma in the Cardiac Region

　種々の胃検査法の普及により，当地方病院においても，多くの病変が発見されるようになった．最近胃穹窿部神経鞘腫の1例を経験したので報告する．

　A 61-year-old man came to the authors' hospital for thorough checkup because an abnormal finding had been detected in his stomach at a gastric mass survey, although he had no subjective complaints.

　X-ray examination demonstrated a homogenous mass the size of a pigeon egg suggesting of a tumor on the anterior wall near the lesser curvature of the cardiac area, while endoscopically a sharply uprising tumor was recognized in the same region. Several bridging folds were seen as well converging toward the tumor.

　Clinical diagnosis was a benign submucosal tumor of the stomach. Histologically, the tumor, measuring 3.4×3.0×2.1cm, was confirmed as a neurinoma located in the submucosal layer.
