長期間逆追跡しえた食道表在癌の2例

Retrospective Study of Superficial Esophageal Carcinoma, Report of two Cases

要旨　内視鏡的に長期経過観察した食道粘膜癌の2例を報告した．〔症例1〕は4年8か月の観察期間に0-Ⅱc＋Ⅱb型のまま経過し，深達度もm1にとどまっていた．〔症例2〕は4年11か月の観察期間にm1からm2への進展が推定されたが，病型は0-Ⅱc＋Ⅱb型のままであった．これらは，食道癌も粘膜癌の段階では，一般に言われているように発育は極めて緩徐であることの証明と考えられるが，2例とも組織学的に異型度の比較的弱い癌であり，粘膜癌の中でも発育は遅い部類に属する症例と思われる．

　Two cases or esophageal mucosal cancer, observed for a long period of time, are here reported.

　The first case, the clinical course of which cancer had shown 0-Ⅱc+Ⅱb without any alteration over a period of four years and eight months, remained at a depth of m1 for the whole period. The second case was a cancer whose depth of invasion was deduced to have progressed from m1 to m2 during the observaton period of four years and 11 months, had shown the same pattern of 0-Ⅱc+Ⅱb as the former case.

　The present cases are considered to support the general view that esophageal cancers, when defined as mucosal cancer, usually develop very slowly, and even among mucosal cancers, and to be categorized as there progression is so weak and low grade that they can be said to be atypical.
