胎盤血管腫は，病理組織学的検索で約1％に発生するとされ，胎盤発生の腫瘤の中では最多といわれる。今回我々は，胎児発育不全の精査目的に腹部超音波検査およびMRI検査が施行され，分娩後の病理組織検査で胎盤血管腫と診断された症例を経験した。胎盤血管腫のMRI所見は超音波所見と比べて報告例が少ない。そこで胎盤血管腫の過去の報告例および画像所見について文献的考察を加え報告する。

Chorioangioma is a nontrophoblastic benign tumor of the placenta, with a preverence of about 1％. Giant chorioangiomas greater than 5cm in diameter are relatively rare, and often associated with a variety of pregnancy complications such as intrauterine growth restriction：IUGR.

We report a case of a female who presented to us at 35 weeks of gestation with IUGR. Ultrasonography showed a vascular tumor on the surface of placenta. The mass was well-defined with isointense on T1-weighted images and hypointense on T2-weighted images with signal flow void in the surface. After birth, the placenta was completely extracted. histopathologocal examination of the placental mass confirmed the diagnosis of chorioangioma.
