Abstract 文献概要

　筆者は昭和35年9月より2年間M．I．T．（マサチューセッツ工科大学）電子工学科へ留学の機会を得，聴覚電気生理学，特に猫単一第一次聴ニューロンの音刺激応答様式について研究した。実験方法としては従来の超微小電極法を用い，そのデーター処理に電子計算機を用いたのであるが，短時間に定量的かつ正確な解析が行なえるのに驚嘆した。本文では筆者自身が経験した聴覚系の解析法について簡単に記すに過ぎないが，その応用は電気生理学一般に適応され得るであろう。

　Author introduced the short description of computer application in the study of the ele-ctrical activity of the auditory system. And, certain possible application of this technique for research and clinical use was suggested. Data processing of neuroelectric activity by the use of computer was really great speed and reliability.

　Its just my feeling that the cooperation between physiologists, physicists, mathematicians and electrical engineers may contribute to progress on the science.
