I．はじめに

　突発性の難聴，回転性めまいを初発症状として，長期間（8年問）にわたって確定診断されなかった小脳橋角部・脈絡叢乳頭腫例を経験したので，以下報告した。

　脈絡叢乳頭腫は，脳腫瘍の中でも比較的稀なもの（脳腫瘍の1％以下）であり，耳科医にとってもなじみの少ない疾患である。脈絡叢乳頭腫の中でも脳室外乳頭腫は少なく，ことに小脳橋角部に発生したという報告は2編認められるにすぎない^1,2）。今回の報告例のように，突発性の難聴，回転性めまいで発症した本腫瘍例は，文献上ほかにはみられない。

A case of plexus papilloma with sudden onset of hearing loss and vertigo originating in the cerebellopontine angle is presented. There was no report with such onset and symptoms of the plexus papilloma due to the atypical features, and this case had been misdiagnosed as sudden deafness for about seven years. In this case, the author stressed its similarity of signs and symptoms to those of sudden deafness, and its possibility of diagnostic confusion.
