小児期より学童期にかけて日常よくみかける唾液腺疾患では耳下腺に好発する流行性耳下腺炎がある。本疾患は一度罹患すると永久免疫を獲得するといわれているにもかかわらず，数回にわたる耳下腺腫脹に対して流行性耳下腺炎と診断を下された症例に遭遇することがある。著者らはこのような症例8例に唾液腺造影を行ない，反復性耳下腺炎に特徴的といわれるSialoektasieの所見を得ることができた。またこのうち1例に対して放射線照射とStensen's ductの結紮を行ない，完全に治癒せしめ得たので合わせて報告する次第である。
Eight cases of young children suffering from recurrent swelling of the parotid glands are reported. These lesions generally occurred unilaterally with repeated episodes of swelling. Sialography with spherical dilatation of the tips of the finest duct revealed sialoangiectasis of the ducts.
In one case a good result in remission was obtained by ligation of the Stensen's duct supplemented by x-ray irradiation of the lesion.
This treatment is recommended in cases affected with unilateral lesion, because of its minor operative intervention with no cosmetic consequences.
