　I．緒言

　私共はさきにアレルギー性鼻炎その他の疾患にメトロンコーワ（興和化学製）を使用し好結果をえたが，引続き局所治療剤メトロン点鼻薬の提供をうけ，アレルギー性鼻炎並びに慢性鼻炎に本剤を試用した。

A pharmaceutical agent Metron was usedin treatment of allergic and chronic rhinitis in various forms, nasal drops, intravenous injections and/or oral dosages. The test ca-ses consisted of allergic rhinitis 13 and chro-nic rhinitis 7 in number. From this number 10 cases were given metron by nasal drops with good results in 7 ; in another 10 cases-the agent was given either intravenously or by oral administration. Seven cases of the latter trial gave satisfactory results. It has been found that in allergic rhinitis the agent appear to bemore effective when given in a combined route, nasal drops and general systemic, rather than any one route alone.
