　抑々放線状菌病はアクチノミコーセスに依て惹起せらるゝ慢性の特殊性炎症で，人類及び動物を侵すものである。

　本疾患は既に1826年頃より獸醫學方面に於て注目されていたが，人類に於てはLangenbecdの記載以來多數の報告を見るに至つた。

NAKAGAWA reports a case of actinimycosis of she neck that originated from dental infec-tion. Diagnosis was confirmed from its repeat-ed occurrence. Various treatments were tried such as X-ray therapy, oral administration of potassium iodide,local incision and drainage and use penicillin in oil intramuscularly up to 9.6 million units but, none of them proved to be successful in curing the disease. Finally, 800,000 units of water soluble penicillin was given intravenously, daily and the disease was cured in two and one half months after its onset.
