I．はじめに

　クリプトコッカス症は中枢神経系に好発する疾患であり，その診断は脳脊髄液^11）（以下CSF）中，あるいは病変部標本中にその菌体を見出すことにより，培養または近時発展を遂げた血清反応によりなされるが^30），必ずしも特異的とは限らない^29）．正確な確定診断が困難でありまた全身性のクリプトコッカス症は予後の悪い疾患とされている^29）．

　今回，われわれは，脳腫瘍の臨床像を呈したクリプトコッカス症の1例を経験したので，脳クリプトコッカス症のCT所見を主として，若干の文献的考察を加え報告する．

A case of cryptococcosis simulating brain tumorwas reviewed. A 66-year-old female was admittedto our hospital with chief complaint of vertigo, gaitdisturbance and dysarthria. These symptoms startedabout one year before admission and worsened.Vomiting and urinary incontinence appeared. Neuro-logical examination revealed left cerebellar ataxia anddysarthria.

In plain CT (computerized tomography) irregularill-defined low density area was noted in the cerebellarvermis and bilateral cerebellar hemispheres. Andslight ventricular dilatation was found.
