Ependymomaの髄腔外転移

Extraneural Metastasis of Ependyinorna:A ease report and review of the literature

I．はじめに

　脳腫瘍の転移は，他の悪性腫瘍に比して，頻度が低いばかりでなく，転移が起こってもその大多数は髄液腔内に限られる．稀な髄液腔外への転移例ではmedulloblas-toma,meningiomaが多く，今回われわれが経験したoの，しかもシャントチューブを介しての転移は極めて少なく，腹水の細胞診で生前に診断しえた報告例は認められない．この1症例とともに，ependy-momaの転移につき文献からの検討を加えて報告する．

The authors reported a case of the 4th ventricleependymomawhich metastasized on the spinal cord, in the thirdand thelateral ventricles and in the abdominal cavitythrough theV-Pshunt.

This patient was 2 years and 6 months old (July, 1977) ather onset of symptoms. On Sept. 26, 1977, she wasoperatedand subtotally removed the 4th ventricle tumorfollowed byV-P shunt and received 4500 rads to the wholle skullandlocal region over a course of 5 weeks. She dischargedcheerfully without neurological deficit.

2nd admission (October 11, 1978); Since October 5,1978,she began to walk bending herself and complainlumbago.
