Ⅰ．はじめに

　頸髄損傷の治療は正しい病理学的知見に基づいてなさるべきであり，著者の行った23例の剖検所見から，頸髄損傷別に代表例を呈示して，脊髄損傷の実態を明らかにし，治療との関連について考察する．

Review was made of early treatment procedures, especially indications of a need for surgery, in cervic spinal cord in,uries based on post mortem findings of 23 cases.

The excised cervical column was examined by x-ray in rotation, flexion and extension, and the films were compared with those taken at the time of initial examination.
