Abstract 文献概要

「心の理論」研究とは，「人は人の心理現象をどのように理解しているのか」を検討する研究分野である。本論では，発達心理学および神経科学研究の立場に立ち，（1）心の理論自体についての概説，（2）心の理論の関連概念（願望と信念）とその発達，（3）心の理論の関連概念（特に信念）の発達に対する2つの仮説（メタ表象仮説と実行機能仮説）を提示し，それを踏まえて心の理論の発達に果たす前頭前野の重要性について概説した。

During the first few years of life, children acquire an ability to read other（and their own）minds without obvious effort or formal instruction. Such ability has been called as “theory of mind” in scientific literatures. We reviewed principal issues of theory of mind from the perspectives of developmental psychology and cognitive neuroscience. Specifically, we described two hypotheses（meta-representation theory and executive function theory）which may account for normal development of theory of mind. Importance of the role of the frontal lobe function was discussed.
