脳神経内科として開業するためのキャリアパスに一定のものはなく，医師個人ごとに異なると思われる。内科開業医として自立するためには「かかりつけ医」となる自覚が必要であり，家庭医や総合医としての最低限の素養が必要で，そのうえに「脳神経内科としての専門性」を主張するため，医療機関同士のネットワーク形成を考え，医師会活動に励むこととなった。

Abstract

There is no fixed career path for practicing in a neurology department, and the specific path varies from doctor to doctor. In order to become independent as a medical practitioner, it is necessary to be aware of how to become a “primary care doctor,” and a minimum background as a family doctor or a general practitioner is required. Considering the formation of networks between institutions, I decided to work hard on the activities of the medical association.
