17歳男子，右眼の乳頭周囲に色素性病変を認め，その検眼鏡的所見，螢光眼底像，臨床経過から傍乳頭網膜色素上皮過誤腫と診断した症例を報告し，文献的考察を加えた．
We observed juxtapapillary hamartoma of the retinal pigment epithelium in a 17 year old male. In the right eye, the optic disc was surrounded by a slightly elevated, pigmented retinal lesion. A preretinal membrane had formed with retinal folds extending beyond the macula. Fluorescein angi-ography showed, besides blocked fluorescence in the pigmented lesion, tortuous retinal vessels, increased capillaries and retinal vascular abnor-malities including arteriovenous anastomosis and arcade-like deviations. These vascular abnormal-ities were thought to be secondary to preretinal membrane formation.
