　21歳と32歳の男子，眼痛を訴えた2症例で，涙腺排出管切開にて，数個の結石様物質を認めた。結石は0.5×0.5×1.0mmから，1.5×1.5×3.5mmにわたり，円形からカシューナッツ形を示し，黄白色の，比較的柔かい白墨様外観を呈する物質であった。真菌や細菌の菌塊は認められず結晶成分も析出されず，H-E染色にて均一に染まる無構造物質であった。

Lithiasis in the lacrimal ductules was diagnosed in two males aged 21 and 32 years each. Acute eye pain of a few days' duration was the chief subjective complaint. Several calculi were located and surgi-cally removed in the subconjunctival section of thelacrimal ductules. They were whitish-yellow in color. The largest one simulated cashew-nut in shape and measured 1.5×1.5×3.0 mm in size. The smaller ones were spherical in shape. Histological studies showed the calculi to be composed of amor-phous debris with additional neutrophils and de-generated cells. The largest one developed around a degenerated cilium.
