（1）幼児期に発病せる周期性眼球突出

Periodical exophthalmus which started in childhood

I．緒言

　周期性眼球突出とはある期間を隔てて眼球の突出を来すもので，広義の間歇性眼球突出である。1805年Schmidt氏が初めて報告した間歇性眼球突出は，体位の変化即ち頭部に鬱血を来す様な動作により眼球突出し，その動作を止めると旧位置に恢復するのを云う。而し頭部の位置の変化により眼球の状態に変化をおこさないもので，且つ或間隔をおいて突出を来すものは，Birch-Hirsch-feldによると，反覆性又は周期性眼球突出という。最近私は周期的に眼球突出をおこす稀有な1例を観察したのでここに報告する。

A girl of eight years old had been periodically afflicted with the projection of the light eye-ball during two to three weeks twice a year since two years of age and had not any other troubles. The projection occured with the eye-musele paralysis of the opposite side at six years of age receded with the injection of Azan. And next time, the projection concurred with glaucoma at the same side, but this projection receded with the intra-arte-rial injection of sugiuron.

Our reports were the above-mentioned rare case, and the statistical observation on 864 cases of eyeball-projection during the last forty years.
