要約　目的：重症ドライアイに併発した涙囊炎に対して涙囊摘出を行った結果の報告。対象：過去6年間に重症ドライアイに併発した涙囊炎に対して涙囊摘出を行った6例8側を検索した。男性1側，女性7側で，平均年齢は70歳である。結果：術前の涙管通水は全例が陰性で，膿の逆流があった。フルオレスチン染色スコア，涙液三角（tear meniscus）の高さ，Schirmerテスト1法，涙膜破壊時間など，他覚的所見は全例で改善した。自覚症状としては，YAGレーザーを使った2例で，創傷治癒に伴う疼痛があった。結論：重症ドライアイに併発した涙囊炎に対する涙囊摘出術で，術後の涙液動態が安定した。本術式は治療法として有用である。

Abstract.　Purpose：To report the outcome of dacryocystectomy for dacryocystitis with severe dry eye symptoms. Cases：This retrospective study was made on 8 sites of 6 patients who received dacryocystectomy for severe dry eye symptoms. The series comprised one male and 7 female sites. The age averaged 70 years. All the cases were negative for attempted drainage of nasolacrimal duct and showed putrid regurgitation. Results：After surgery,all the cases showed improvements in objective findings in regard to corneal fluorescin stain score,height of tear meniscus,Schirmer test 1,and tear breakup time. Two cases showed local pain during recovery at the site of surgery treated by YAG laser. Conclusion：Tear fluid dynamics improved after dacryocysectomy for dacryocystitis with dry eye symptoms. This therapeutic modality promises to be of value.
