要約　目的：新型未熟児鈎を作製し，臨床に使用した報告。対象と方法：新型未熟児鈎を試作し，補助呼吸器を装着している新生児の診療を行い，従来の未熟児鈎と比較した。結果：従来の未熟児鈎では，鼻側では補助呼吸器が障害となり診療が困難になるが，試作した新型未熟児鈎では補助呼吸器を装着したままで十分診療が行えた。結論：新型未熟児鈎は補助呼吸器を装着中の未熟児の診療に有効である。

Abstract.　Purpose：To report the design and clinical feasibility of a new scleral depressor for funduscopy of premature infants. Method：The new scleral depressor is designed for infants under artificial ventilation. It consists of a pair,one for the right and the other for the left eye. Results：Fundus examination used to be difficult with the traditional scleral depressor as the view of the nasal fundus was interfered by the ventilator. The new scleral depressor allows unimpeded funduscopy as the obstacle is eliminated. Conclusion：The new scleral depressor is useful for funduscopy of premature infants under artificial ventilation.
