要約　目的：網膜静脈分枝閉塞症に併発した黄斑浮腫に対するベバシズマブの硝子体内注射の効果の報告。対象と方法：黄斑浮腫を伴う網膜静脈分枝閉塞症43例43眼を対象とした。男性21例，女性22例であり，年齢は42～85歳（平均66歳）であった。10眼にはすでに硝子体手術，6眼には光凝固，5眼にはトリアムシノロンのテノン囊下注射が行われていた。ベバシズマブ1.0mgを硝子体腔内に注射した。視力はlogMARで評価し，0.2以上または以下の変化を改善または悪化と判定した。結果：投与1か月後で19眼（44％），3か月後で23眼（53％）で改善した。黄斑部網膜厚の平均値は，投与前の535μmから1か月後の304μmに有意に改善した（p＜0.01）。29眼では網膜厚が20％以上減少した。10眼（23％）では黄斑浮腫の再発はなかった。結論：ベバシズマブの硝子体内注射により，23％の症例で永続的な黄斑浮腫軽減が得られた。残りの再発例に対しては，光凝固などを含めた追加治療が必要であった。

Abstract.　Purpose：To report the outcome of intravitreal injection of bevacizumab for macular edema secondary to branch retinal vein occlusion. Cases and Method：This retrospective study was made on 43 eyes of 43 patients with branch retinal vein occlusion and macular edema. The series comprised 21 males and 22 females. The age ranged from 42 to 85 years, average 66 years. Vitrectomy had been performed in 10 eyes, photocoagulation in 6 eyes, and subtenon injection of triamcinolone in 5 eyes. Each eye received intravitreal injection of 1.0mg bevacizumab. Visual acuity was evaluated in terms of logMAR. Change of visual acuity by 0.2 or more was judged as improvement or deterioration. Results：Visual acuity improved in 19 eyes（44％）one month and in 23 eyes（53％）3 months after treatment. The difference was significant（p＜0.05）. Macular thickness decreased by 20％ or more in 29 eyes. There was no recurrence of macular edema in 10 eyes（23％）. Conclusion：Intravitreal injection of bevacizumab resulted in permanent cure of macular edema in 23％ of cases. Additional treatment, including photocoagulation, was necessary in the other cases.
