開口位椎骨動脈撮影法の有用性

THE OPEN MOUTH PROJECTION IN THE VERTEBRAL ANGIOGRAPHY

I．はじめに

　椎骨動脈撮影法は，後頭蓋窩，間脳，後頭葉病変が疑われる時，まず最初に行われる検査法の一つである。しかし手術を目的とした後頭蓋窩病変の診断に対しては，タウン投影像，側方向投影像において，困難を感じる場合が多い。われわれは最近，椎骨動脈撮影施行時，開口位投影法を併用して，診断を高めているのでここに報告する。

An open mouth projection in a vertebral angiography presents unshortened vascular figureof vertebral arteris and a basilar artery. The figure obtained by the open mouth projection con-tributes to the neuroradiological diagnosis of the lesions in the posterior cranial fossa.

The vertebral angiography is one of examinations which are taken first when lesions are suspected in the cerebellum, the brain stem or the occipital lobe. In the Towne's projection or the lateral pro-jection in the vertebral angiography, it is of ten difficult to get a detailed diagnosis for operations. Present report shows the open mouth projection which we recently take additionally in the verte-bral angiography and has contributed us to make the preciser diagnosis.
