脳内Angiosteomatous hamartomaの1例について

ANGIOSTEOMATOUS HAMARTOMA:REPORT OF A CASE

はじめに

　脳内の血管性病変に石灰沈着が生じることはよく知られているが，骨形成が見られるのは極めて稀なことである。文献上でも，外国で3例の報告を見るのみである^1）。われわれは最近ジャクソンてんかんの患者の脳内に血管腫様構造と化骨過程とが合併している症例を経験したので報告する。

A case with intracerebral tumor coexisting angiomatous and osteomatous tissues has been reported.

Twenty nine year-old house wife, who has been suffering from occasional convulsive attacks, admit-ted our hospital for suspecting brain tumor.

The character of her attacks is of Jacksonian type, beginning from motor and sensory fits on her left thumb, ensuing general convulsions.

Her plain craniograms and tomograms of skull revealed a small calcification about 10 mm. under the cortex of right parietotemporal area, on which any vascularities nor feeding vessels were recog-nized on her serial cerebral angiograms. The calcified lesion was removed by operation and ex-amined histologically. The tumor was a small one, 10mm×10mm×15mm. in size, and had two por-tions of bone-like hard and balloon-like elastic tissues. Histologically, the former was consisted of typical osseous tissue which had lamellae forma-tion surrounding Haversian canals and the latter had angiomatous structures having multiple vessels. Around these vessels extravasation of erythrocytes and hemosiderins was seen.

Considering from histopathological findings, we denominate this rare tumor angiosteomatous hamar-toma.
