抄録

　アルコール依存症者の前頭葉機能障害に関して，前頭葉機能の簡易評価バッテリーであるFABと，その遂行に前頭葉機能の関与が考えられている心の理論課題を用いて調査した。患者19人，健常者13人に検査を実施し，両群間での比較を行った。FAB総得点，心の理論正解率は患者群で有意に低かった(おのおのp＜0.01，p＜0.05)。FABのカットオフポイント達成率については有意差を生じなかったが，サブテストのうち精神柔軟性，抑制制御が患者群で有意に低かった(おのおのp＜0.01，p＜0.05)。前頭葉機能や心の理論の能力がアルコールにより障害され，アルコール依存症者の最大の問題である否認に対して影響を与えている可能性があると考えた。

　A frontal lobe function in alcoholics was investigated to evaluate characteristics in alcoholics by using FAB, a simple assessment battery for frontal lobe function, and “theory of mind” task. Nineteen alcoholics and 13 normal controls were enrolled in this study for comparison. The total score FAB and the achievement rate of “theory of mind” were significantly lower in alcoholics (p value＜0.01 and p＜0.05, respectively). The achievement rate of at the FAB cut-off point showed no significant differences, but mental flexibility and inhibitory control, which were subtests of FAB, were significantly lower in alcoholics (p＜0.01 and p＜0.05, respectively). This study suggested the possibility that a frontal lobe function and ability of “theory of mind” in alcoholics might be injured by alcohol and this kind of injury might affect “denial”, which induces the greatest problem in alcoholics.
