　新しい抗不整脈薬aprindinc （MS−5075）は著明な局所麻酔作用を有し，Vaughan Williams分類のI群に属するとされ，各種の上室性および心室性不整脈に対し有効とされている^1〜6）。

　今回我々は，Wolff-Parkinson-White（WPW）症候群に合併する房室回帰性頻拍（A-V reentrant tachycardia；AVRT）10例に対するaprindine （A）静注の頻拍停止と誘発阻止に対する効果を電気生理学的に検討したので報告する。

The effects of intravenous aprindine 100mg on the induction and termination of paroxysmal supra-ventricular tachycardia were studied in 10 patients with orthodromic circus movement tachycardia us-ing an accessory pathway (AVRT). In 4 of 6 pa-tients, sustained AVRT was terminated after aprin-dine administration, and in all these 4 patients, tachycardia was terminated by V-A block. In S of 10 patients, including the 4 patients whose AVRT was terminated by aprindine, tachycardia was not induced after aprindine administration. The mean cycle length of tachycardia increased after aprindine but this increase was due to the increase of V-A interval. The site of action of aprindine on AVRT was thought to be the accessory pathway.
