　肺容量に関しては，既に諸家により種々疾患につき測定されているが，われわれは人工気腹の作用機転考察のために，肺容量に及ぼす影響を人工気腹前後につき，又健康人及び限局性病巣をもち肺気腫を伴わない肺結核患者，心臓辨膜症患者について肺容量を測定したので報告する。

We have made researches into the influence of artificial pnenmoperitoneum towards the pulmonary capacity with the cases of healthy, heart failure and pulmonary tuberculosis.

After practising the artficial pneumoperitoneum, lung volume became decrease which is chiefly due to the decrease of the residual air and the functional residual air. The decrease of suppleme-ntal air and complemental air is observed slight.
