要旨　小腸腫瘍はまれな疾患ではあるが，小腸脂肪腫は小腸良性腫瘍の中では比較的多い．症状としては腸重積による腹痛と出血が多い．内部の脂肪組織を反映した軟らかい腫瘍であることが基本的な特徴である．腹部CT検査，腹部超音波検査でも腫瘍内部の脂肪を反映した所見が得られ，検出ができれば質的診断にも有用である．最近ではダブルバルーン内視鏡を用いた内視鏡的切除も可能となり，より小さいうちに発見することが重要である．

　Although small-bowel tumors are rare, lipoma of the small bowel is not so rare among the benign small-bowel tumors. Intussusception and gastrointestinal bleeding are frequent symptoms in lipoma of the small bowel. A lipoma is a soft submucosal tumor, and abdominal CT and ultrasonography are useful for evaluating the content of the tumor that shows characteristics of fat. It has become possible to perform endoscopic resection using double balloon endoscopy, so it is important to detect lipoma of the small bowel while it is still small enough for endoscopic treatment.
