Vitiligo is a commonly acquired depigmentation disorder affecting 0.5-2% of the global population, characterized by well-demarcated white macules due to melanocyte loss or dysfunction 1). It is classified into non-segmental vitiligo (NSV), the more prevalent and progressive form often with bilateral involvement, and segmental vitiligo (SV), which is unilateral, often dermatomal, and typically stabilizes within 1-2 years.
