認知症の転倒予防

　認知症を引き起こす疾患のうち転倒リスクは，転倒経験の有無では16倍，レビー小体型認知症の有無では3.6倍に達し，さらにパーキンソニズムと転倒には有意な関係があることも報告されている。レビー小体型認知症は，多彩な精神症状，身体症状，薬剤の過敏性などの特徴と誤った医療介入により症状をかえって悪化させてしまうなどの性質も持ち合わせ，転倒が問題となる。高齢者における認知機能と転倒リスクの関連を示す報告から，課題遂行機能への取り組みが転倒リスクを減少させるとしている。非薬物的療法の確立とケアの質の向上，職種横断的な連携と情報共有が必要であり，さらにその予防には運動療法が重要である。
