気管支喘息治療におけるフルチカゾンプロピオン酸エステル/ホルモテロールフマル酸塩水和物エアゾールの有用性の検討～吸入補助器具（スペーサー）による影響

　加圧噴霧式定量吸入器（pMDI）製剤はスペーサーを必要とすることが多い。そこで，FP/FM-pMDIに関して，スペーサー使用の有無で臨床的有用性を検討したところ，スペーサー使用の有無の影響は認められなかった。わが国でのFP/FM-pMDI開発臨床試験でもスペーサーは使用されていないが，優れた臨床効果が示されている。FP/FM-pMDIは，多くの場合，スペーサーを使用しなくても非常に有効性を発揮しうると考えられる。その背景としてFP/FM-pMDIは，噴射圧がソフトで吸気と同調しやすい吸入効率の良いpMDI製剤であることがあげられる。

　Pressurized metered dose inhalers（pMDIs）often require a spacer. In, the present study, a clinical utility of FP/FM-pMDI was examined with and without a spacer；no influence was observed by its presence or absence. The clinical trial performed in Japan also demonstrated a prominent clinical efficacy of FP/FM-pMDI without a spacer. Based on the available findings, FP/FM-pMDI is considered to be highly effective without a spacer in various cases with its high inhalation efficiency based on the mild injection pressure and easy synchronization with the indrawn breath.
