当院の放射線治療前におけるインフルエンザワクチン接種の現状

Inoculation situation of influenza vaccine of patients refferd to department of radiation oncology

近年の癌治療の進歩に伴い，生存率は以前に比して大幅に改善されるようになってきた。とりわけ放射線治療と化学療法は物理学・生物学の進歩に伴い癌を根治できるようにまで発展した^1）。一方，放射線治療や化学療法は以前よりも治療期間が長くなるようになってきた。例えば放射線治療においては強度変調放射線治療（IMRT）によってこれまで以上に癌病巣に対して放射線線量を上げることができるようになった^2）。化学療法においても分子標的薬剤などの出現により3rdラインや4thラインの治療まで様々な種類の薬剤を投与することができるようになってきた。このように治療の進歩に伴って患者の治療期間も長くなるようになってきている。

Cancer treatment may stop for a long term when the patients have influenza. The interruption of the duration of treatment has an influence on the survival rate with respect to radiotherapy. We investigated percentage of inoculation of the vaccine for the patients who had a medical examination in radiotherapy. Thirty-eight out of 51 cases（75％）were inoculated and 13（25％）were not inoculated. It is necessary to confirm the presence or absence of vaccination before medical treatment begins from medical stuff if not inoculated.
