Giant peritoneal loose bodyの1例

A case of giant peritoneal loose body

peritoneal loose body（腹腔内遊離体，腹腔鼠）は腹部骨盤部のCTを読影していると日常的に遭遇する頻度の高い偶発所見である。通常は容易に診断でき，臨床上問題となることは少ない。しかしながらまれに5cmを超える大きな腫瘤として発見されることがあり（giant peritoneal loose body），診断に難渋することがある。ただし，giant peritoneal loose bodyの特徴的な画像所見が報告されており，それを知っていれば的確に診断することは可能と考えられる。今回，我々は典型的な画像所見を呈したgiant peritoneal loose bodyの1例を経験したので報告する。

A 65-year-old previously healthy male underwent a routine medical examination. Ultrasonography, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging showed an oval-shaped mass contained calcification and fat that was 50 mm in maximumdiameter in the lower abdomen. Histological examination showed that the mass consisted of well-circumscribed, unencapsulated, Necrotic adipose tissue surrounded by hyalinized collagen fibers.
