壊死性軟部組織感染症（necrotizing soft tissue infection：NSTI）は急速に進行し，治療が遅れると致死率の高い軟部組織の細菌感染症である．糖尿病，末梢動脈疾患，免疫不全患者に好発し，嫌気性菌を代表とした混合感染が主なⅠ型と，健常者にも発症し，急速な壊死の進行，臓器障害をきたすA群β溶連菌が起炎菌となるⅡ型がある1）．
われわれは，母指の亀裂性湿疹から波及したA群β溶連菌による壊死性軟部組織感染症の1例を経験したので報告する．
